CommGozz is hosting a film screening voted by YOU!
Gurl please! CommGozz has been quite busy lately making lots of new contacts (erm, even though this hasn’t actually translated into any blog posts) and one exciting new project CommGozz has on the go (as well as preparing for the launch of a new anatomically correct DILDO) is the hosting of a film screening for Fringe! The Gay Film Fest.
But for this your help is needed.
Below is a selection of four movies designed to send you into a power spinz. Choose the one that makes you go unrelentingly and proudly GAGL and, who knows, all the other sisters of the world might choose it too and you’ll find your selection screened at Bistrotheque on 10 April. Werk!
The selection:
My Own Private Idaho
Plot: River Phoenix and Keanu Reeves play two street hustlers who embark on a queer romp of boilz proportions that includes a trip to Idaho and then to Italy. It’s tears and erections in equal measures in Gus Van Sant’s ‘Shakespearean’ classique. (Dying for a hot literary reference!)
Bad Education
Plot: Who cares what it’s about when you see Gael Garcia Bernal showing off his boilz body? Actually I do, because sexual abuse by Catholic priests*, transsexuality, drug abuse and metafiction all get a look in. Totally MAJOR. (*Not this, obvs, but you know what I mean).
Shortbus
Plot: Threesomes, trannies, auto fellatio, group sex, sex therapy, plus gay icons like Justin Bond and JD Samson. LIVING for its sex positive messages.
Paris Is Burning
Plot: Does this need an introduction? Surely not if you read CommGozz. It’s the mantra of my existence. Drag realness, executive realness, banji boys, dips, reading, Willi Ninja, shade, voguing. TEN. TEN. TEN. TEN. TEN…
